For Halloween Blue Martini decided to team up with 93.3 FLZ and step away from your typical costume party by throwing a Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themed party. Dia De Los Muertos is a holiday which originated in Mexico where people can honor the dead with festivals and lively celebrations.
Eyes On You was lucky enough to be invited to Blue Martini and get some Sugar Skull (or calavera,) makeup going for the event. Sugar Skulls are candies molded to look like human skulls that are used to celebrate Day of the Dead. Dozens of people including bartenders, servers, and even some special guests of the evening were all getting done up Dia de los Muertos style!
There was a raffle at the event to win complimentary VIP Hair and Makeup with Eyes On You and Maria Alston was our lucky winner. We were incredibly happy to be a part of this event and cannot wait to team up with Blue Martini in the future!
